Viking Dragon blue topaz ring in sterling silver by Suzan Postgate size 8 The Viking Dragon blue topaz ring was inspired by both Viking and Celtic art. Gripping beast designs were favorites of the ancient Celts as well as the Vikings. They appear in works of art from the designs carved into Viking long ships to ancient Celtic manuscripts like the “Book of Kells.” Suzan hand carved this ring and then cast and finished it all by hand. The ring is made of sterling silver. It is set with a beautiful 10 mm X 12 mm checkerboard cut blue topaz. A fierce dragon guards the stone on either side. The ring is a size 8.
