Medieval engraved sapphire ring by Suzan Postgate, 14K,  size 7 Medieval engraved sapphire ring, Suzan has a keen interest in historical jewelry. She made this ring to look like some of her favorites while keeping it a unique example of her designs. The ring is delicate and yet sturdy. Suzan also set the sapphire so that it is reasonably protected without raising the setting higher than the stone. The ring was then cast in 14K gold. The stone is a natural deep blue sapphire. The stone is cut as a faceted oval 5 X 3.5 mm.
